I'll start by saying that i am a DC fan, i have watched all the DCEU movies despite of how bad they were (cough dawn of justice cough), and i was extremely excited to see how great justice league would turn out to be, with how great the trailers were i had high hopes, furthermore my favorite superhero was in it *it's the flash* so i had even more reasons to be hyped, unfortunately i was let down, as the movie was a huge disappointment, but even with its flaws did it really deserve all the hate?
In some ways yes, superman's CGI was horrible, as Henry Cavil couldn't shave because of his other movies, and superman was way too overpowered, in the comics it has been shown that flash is much faster than the man of steel, hell, even wally west was faster than him, on that note how were an amazonian and an atlantean not a match for a single kryptionian, moreover the tragic events that struck director Zack Snyder did not help, even with Joss Whedon the director of the Avengers the movie still did not hit the bulls-eye, as we could see it was trying too hard to be like the Avengers, since when did the bat of Gotham crack jokes non-stop, and how did Barry Allen get turned from a confident forensic scientist to the awkward mess he is, i get that the movie needs comic relief but there is a wrong and correct way to do it.
Moreover the supposed chemistry between cyborg and superman is not built up, plus cyborg looks hideous, and way too much screen time was spent on cybrog and his father, regardless of the mother box importance, plus the way batman thinks of Clark is just too rushed, no character build up at all, in the last movie Bruce was bent on killing him but somehow now he admires him in this movie, however to the film's credit Aquaman is great and i want to see more of him as Jason Mamoa nailed him, all in all the film was not up to par and it doesn't continue the success of Wonder Woman, right now with the state of the DCEU the future of our beloved heroes and heroines is in mist.
