Ever since the first day it came into early access PUBG has been a worldwide sensation, as gamers all around the globe have enjoyed the battle royale experience, and for good reason too as the game's winning formula of 100 player battles demands to be played non-stop, all while assuring you no two games will turn out the same, moreover the game gets even more intense with friends and four player squads that turn up the chaos to 11, and the introduction of the new desert map attracted even more players to play the game, as it flourished for the past few months it has spawned and inspired many more battle royale games that take the same concept with a few differences like the new Epic Games title : Fortnite, however not a single one of those spinoff inspired games has been able to capture the distinct feel of PUBG.
Weeks after the game caught everyone's eyes console gamers have been demanding to get the game, but for many months now the actual release of the console copy of the game has been up in the air, however it has been confirmed and it released in the past week, but the game's launch has not been the smoothest, however to the game's credit it is still in xbox preview so it is still not in its final form, the game has reached 1 million players in just 2 days which is honestly quite impressive, the offical PUBG twitter account has said : "Over 1M players tried @PUBATTLEGROUNDS within 48hrs of launch on @Xbox Game Preview! This is humbling, so thank you all!
It’s the start of the road on console for us. We've lots to improve & update over the coming months & w/ your feedback we’ll make a great game together!" i want to focus on the tried part, as you can see the way he phrased it is quite peculiar, as Microsoft has stated that all games in xbox preview should have a free trail, however PUBG doesn't which annoyed a lot of gamers, Microsoft's reasoning did not calm gamers at all, as they have said the reason that PUBG doesn't have a free trail is quote "prioritizing server stability" which is ludicrous.

Problem is the console version is filled with glitches from visual to game breaking, and it can dip into single digit frames, furthermore the servers are not the greatest, many people have stated that they are experiencing horrible connection, at this point the game is not worth getting but once they patch it, it will be worth it , while making a great 30 million dollar profit the game is defiantly a success.
