Marvel has been giving many of their unknown heroes Solo movies, like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy have had their popularity boosted from nobodies to staples of any upcoming Marvel movies, but one question was on everybody's minds, just why isn't black widow getting her own movie? Surprisingly, Marvel answered their fans wishes and they are going to release a Black Widow movie.
To many many fans the prospect of getting a black widow solo movie was out of their reach forever, on the other hand, some fans (Like myself) knew that it was merely a matter of time before we got what we wanted, because it would only mean more financial success for Marvel, plus they have a whole lot of material to work with as Black Widow has one of the most intriguing backstories, as she was trained since birth to be a perfect killing machine.
Granted the movie is still in early development stages, and no formal green light has been given, regardless the fact that Marvel is actually giving this movie thought is amazing, moreover, it will be awesome to see Natasha Romanoff (played by Scarlett Johansson) as the lead character, which is a breath of fresh air as Nat has been a supporting character in Male-Lead movies, despite all that, the fact that we might actually get a Marvel movie featuring a lead Female heroine is amazing.
